Best lift kit for a JKU

I am waiting for my JK to arrive and already want to add some goodies. What lift kit is the best to use on a jk that will be a daily driver? Some trails but nothing big?

To be honest it is all about personal preference. If I was you I would rework this thread to say that you are looking to lift your JKU. Include what you want to use your JKU for and also include a budget. I am in a local jeep club and everyone has a different setup. People will be more then willing to help you though. There is no best lift out there, you can always find a fault in something, lol.

I will use my JK as a daily driver mostly. It will see some trails but nothing crazy. I want to put a 2.5" lift on it with 35's. If you have pictures send them on. I'd like to se what you have.

From what I have read AEV is the best road handling lift and sounds like it would suit your needs but I have no real life experience. Local off road shop was telling me to go with Superlift and Fox shocks but have had trouble finding many reviews on it.

That's what I have on my 2014 Sport. I think it's great. Handles better than factory, feels more firm, and isn't squishy at all.

For the money and ability to maintain smooth on road drivability and have good articulation and off road capabilities I recommend AEV. I have a 4.5" AEV dual sport lift with 37s and it handles great as a daily driver, highway speeds for hours getting to the trails and excellent on difficult rock crawling.

Either way you decide, kits of roughly the same content will be almost indistinguishable. Compare what each kit has and what the price is. Getting a kit based on brand recognition only, can bite you.

Best lift kit for a JKU

Hi,
Many options...
As i see it's all about taste and budget.
You should compare which parts are included in each kit
And visit few a local shops where you can see &maybe even feel the different options.
Check mopar's kit, it also comes with drive shaft..
Anyway, don't buy before you drove a similar jeep equipped with what you chose.
Enjoy,
Rafi
