Re: do you lock the doors on your soft top?

I live in the boonies but still have city habits. I find that I hit the lock on the remote with the hard top on, the soft top on and no top on. Once was running errands and had everything off, doors and top and I still hit the lock on the remote...someone asked did you just lock that...I replied Yes I did....

Re: do you lock the doors on your soft top?

I used to lock the door to my 2005 soft top and luckily never had any issues. I am getting a 2016 unlimited with soft top and probably wont lock it. Honestly was a little too innocent with locking last jeep but also made sure not to keep anything in jeep of value.

I live in the center of a small city and have no off street parking, I plan on leaving doors all unlocked with nothing at all kept in the vehicle.

Re: do you lock the doors on your soft top?

Had a 94 Wrangler I used to lock .... then some idiot used a window punch on the plastic door window ..... I mean, really ?????
After that I never kept anything valuable in it, and left it unlocked so at least I wouldn't have to buy a new zip up window.
The 2016 I'm getting has an alarm, so I'll probably start locking it ... and keeping a .45 by the front door for when I hear it go off !
