Looks like you had a busy weekend. That's a lot of hard work there. Nicely done, it looks beautiful

I'm going to do mine this weekend. I've been waiting for a weekend without rain or high humidity for a while now. Wash, clay, glaze, sealant, wax are on my agenda.

You might luck out this weekend. It's definitely hard work...I don't know how anyone does it with a good buffer. My Porter Cable has served me well. If only DeWalt would come out with a cordless one...

My dad now wants his truck done, and his birthday is coming up. Looks like it's another round here for me soon. Double-cab Tundra - black. That's an entire weekend easily.:detailer::polish::polish:

Hopefully that means their biggest competitor has one in the works too. I've got all the 20V tools from DeWalt. Honestly, I'd deal with the weight to not have to deal with the cord. I'd also be happy to swap a battery out if I had to.

Yes I wouldn't have the patience to do that. That why people start detailed shops though haha. Pay someone that somehow enjoys clean the absolute crap out of someone else's vehicle lol. Good Jon though that looks fantastic man. BTW are those the jw speaker tail lights? Do they come with a resistor so the blinker light don't come on?

Thanks! I just can't stand paying people to do things I can do myself. Have you seen what they charge for a proper detailing/paint correction? I like the instant gratification of it all. You can literally see the improvement as you go and that gives you motivation to keep going. I still need to do the hardtop...

They are JW tails, and they do come with the resistor pre-wired. Love JW's stuff. Very high quality. The headlights have all integral electronics. The tail lights literally just have an in-line resistor wired in that you need to find a home for behind the tail light assembly. Super easy installation.

I had giant light tail lights but within a couple years the passenger side started failing. No blinker and no break light so I took them out and put my stock ones back in.

You live around MA? haha

HAHAAH....no sir. Ohio. You'd be covered in bugs by the time you got back to MA.
