Front parking lamps

Any recommendations on LED bulbs for the front parking lights under the headlamps? I want to use OE style harness and lenses with an LED bulb. Am I forced to install load resistors and does anyone have any particular bulb they know fits in the housing? Looks like some of the VLED options are too large.

Re: Front parking lamps

3157 Sylvania Zevo in the "A" word color for $21 something a pair at your local Autozone.
As far as resistors go the flash is now controlled by the bcm electronically so you have 2 options. Resistors or a trip to the dealer to have the bulb out warning/fast flash turned off.At least you can do that on Ford/Chevy bro.I went with option 2 because I hate those resistors.Cost me $65 for about 5 minutes hooked up to the machine but worth it to me.Just don't use Zevo's for reverse lights because they're designed to shine back on the reflector and not straight out. I have some cheapo Walmart bulbs that actually wok better for that.

Re: Front parking lamps

That's news to me that those alerts can be shut off via computer. Someone could make millions by writing programming like that and selling it. My problem is that I wouldn't want the hyper click, or the hyper flash...not to mention, I've not heard ANYONE here with a Jeep say that this is possible. Next trip to the stealership, I'll definitely be asking that question though. In the meantime, I found some CANBUS bulbs on the interweb I'm going to try. Worst case, they end up as reverse lamps because you know I'm not buying "a" colored bulbs. EVAR!!!!

He didn't say for sure for Chrysler. He said Ford/Chevy works like that.

Re: Front parking lamps

Thanks...but I am perfectly capable of reading and am pretty good at comprehension. That's why I said I was going to find out from my dealer next time I go.
