So check this out!
I did the same as all of you guys . . .and never got anything in the mail except marketing stuff.
Then I called their incentives department and told them that I was strongly considering buy a jeep (true and I have placed one on order) but that I haven't received anything. I explained that I was checking to see if perhaps I had missed an email or mailing.
She looked me up in the system and told me that I had an incentive offer on the books that was a DM (direct mailer) from two months ago.
She continued to explain that it expired in about 30 more days. She also said that while she couldn't send me another physical copy, she could provide a code to me, which I could then give to the dealer.
The value? $1000.00 off the price of the vehicle.
She insured me that it applied to the Wrangler. When I explained that I had a Wrangler on order and that I wouldn't receive it before the expiration date, she said that jeep has recently changed it's policy and that they now have "SOLD order protection" on the incentives like this.
As long as the order is placed before the expiration date, the offer doesn't expire! In fact, the only way that it would not apply, is , if at the time the vehicle arrives at the dealer, there is some sort of dealer/local incentive that is "better." I could opt to take advantage of one or the other. My choice!
