Happy New Year everyone!

I'm about to pull the trigger on a JK Willys Tank. I signed up with Jeep to receive their marketing materials, etc. but have yet to receive anything.

It seems, in reading the forum, that people often get the $500 off golden tickets once it's too late; i.e, after they've ordered and taken delivery of their Wranglers.

Does anyone have advice on how to get the "golden ticket" before taking delivery of their Wranglers?

Thanks in advance for your input.

Good luck with that. It just seems to be pure luck if you get one in time to use it. I did all the right things and plenty early. About 4 weeks after I took delivery, I got a $500 coupon that said, " Thanks for purchasing a new Jeep, if you are interested in buying a second one, use this coupon." I love my Willys, but I'm not going to need a second one.

I got two golden tickets last year after requesting Jeep Wrangler info on the website, but I wasn't ready to buy. Now I can't seem to get another. Signed up for Wrangler, GC, Dodge Ram and Chrysler 300 info, and subscribed at the SD Auto Show. Im ordering a JKUR this weekend, hopefully the golden ticket comes before pickup.

Not sure, but I believe it's a complete reissue...at least it sounded that way on the phone.

My first golden ticket from last August received a 1 month extension into October, but when I called in to the incentive line, they showed it as two promotions. So i'd assume they issue a new promo ID anytime the dates are revised.

Yea but I think they sent it under the notion I had already taken delivery. As my delivery date was 3/20 maybe they were thinking they would look good. But I wouldn't be able to use it. Not sure but what made me think that is the next day I received an Email survey asking how I'am enjoying my new jeep. Well no matter what I'am happy. Late delivery paid off :)

In February we signed up at the Cleveland Auto Show, and then requested more info and brochures online. The Pretty picture books arrived in April, but not even a wiff of a Discount Coupon... Buying soon and sure would like the extra cash off...!

Even if you don't receive a "Golden Ticket" in the mail or in your email, you still may have been chosen for an incentive and not yet received the physical confirmation. Up until the minute you sign the contract for taking delivery, you can call the Chrysler Incentive line (or have the dealer do it) and see if anything has been applied to your account.

Also, many people advocate signing up for all FCA brand marketing material (Jeep, Dodge, Chrysler, Fiat, Ram) both hardcopy and digital for all members of your household to increase your chances of receiving an incentive. However, I have not heard any confirmation that this will truly increase your chances (and you'll get a lot of brochures).

Chrysler hires a 3rd party to do the Incentives, and no one seems quite sure how they decide to apply them. Some theorize that if you request material for models that aren't selling well, you increase your chances of getting an incentive. Could be possible. They also ask you questions about your buying timeline, and you'd think that affects when they might send one to you. Or it could simply be a lottery?

Thanks for the response, that is good information to have. You can be sure I'll make that call before I sign on the money line!

Not directly. You can only request marketing material, like a brochure, and hope you fall into some current marketing campaign to get a discount/golden ticket too.

Not sure if it is considered a golden ticket but I received and email the other day from Jeep with a $1000 incentive that could be added to any other incentives. It had to do with a Jackson Hole Mountain Resort contest they had. Not sure if all entrants received the email or not. The incentive was only good for the recipient and good for pretty much the majority of Fiat vehicles.

I took advantage of it along with a $500 incentive and purchased a 2015 JKUR. If any of you entered that contest and are planning on purchasing a fiat vehicle, you might want to check and see if you have that email.

It arrived in an email today... could this be it? It read:

Dear Edward,

In a few weeks, you'll be receiving a mailer containing a valuable $500 Bonus Cash Allowance1 toward virtually any new 2015 or 2016 Jeep® brand vehicle. The good news is we included it today, so you don't have to wait to use it. The better news? We're also giving you an additional, limited-time $500 Independence Day Bonus Cash Allowance2 toward a new 2015 Jeep® Cherokee. And the best news? These bonuses are in addition to most current public offers.

To use your offers, visit your nearest dealer. Or, you can wait until the mailer arrives to make your choice. Either way, get approved3 in advance to save time. Just remember that your limited-time $500 Independence Day Bonus Cash Allowance2 only lasts until July 16, 2015!

A Twofer of deals! The first is good until November, the second only until mid July.

The second page had all the legal jargon about only good for the named individual (me),
and that it was not available to the general public. It even had a Certificate number on it...

Since we ordered the 2016 KL Limited already, this will be a nice bonus.

The $500 allowance that ends on July 16 only works on Jeep Cherokee, so it looks like you'd be set if you take delivery on your KL by then! An extra $1000 off never hurts.

I got the same email and will be using the $500 on my Wrangler purchase once I can order a 2016 model.

There's no way to know... it's totally random. I think I got one because I requested a brochure on the Renegade for my daughter. But don't quote mo on that....
