GVWR help please

I would like to ask a question of the experts here at the garage. I am looking for the GVWR on a 2 dr sahara with a hard top, as well as the vehicle weight. I want to get a custom badge (vin) plate made up and need the data to complete it.

Thank you,

Mark

Re: GVWR help please

just cruising by the new posts and saw this....I see you are a premium member so have you received your free build sheet from Milous yet? Your specific GvW Rating will be on your build sheet since it is a calculated and populated data field on the build sheets with it's own build sales code...should be under the Standard Equipment towards the end of the section....

other than that you have a few options that can swing it but I think you will be 5,500# but I understand you want a number to take to the bank and that is your build sheet from Milous.....congrats on the purch....

Thank you for the help, I forgot about the possibility of checking the build sheet. I see Z1AS GVW rating in the list with no number listed. Have read also that the sahara 2 dr with hard top would be #3760 GVWR. This is just for a custom nameplate for the vehicle, so it is not that critical anyway.

strange that box is empty on the build sheet. I realize it might me too late for you but it will be printed on the driver door edge tag, federal law...you said not critical but you could always got to the dealer and look at an identical (equipped that is) config...

3,790 is just your base curb weight (wet) for base no option vehicle....have to add your options/config and payload (driver/pass/cargo)....here's a clip from the brochure link....
