happy new year - wrangler rear end q too

hello everyone and happy new year,My 1st project for our 99 wrangler is a rear end upgrade,thinkin of goin to dand44,but have heard that a ford explorer 8.8 is a better option,well once again I`d like to hear from all you that have better knowledge of this than I do , so please give us some advice on where to start this upgrade, thanks everyone and hope to hear something soon

from what i remember the ford 8.8 is a better option b/c you can find them anywhere and for cheap...I have experienced nothing but good things with dana's (buddy had 44's then 60's) I think it comes down to price point. You could go to prolly any junkyard and find a FE 8.8 so it is prolly the easiest way...
