Headlight Issue

Hey guys, it's been awhile since I got rid of the WK2 and I'm finally back to a jeep again. I recently got a used 2011 JKU Sahara. Everything is great on it but I have 1 issue. Every so often the passenger headlight doesn't work just won't turn on. Now you'd think it was the bulb... Well I replaced both bulbs and it's still doing it on the passenger side only the bulb will just stay out for a bit. I come back to the car and then it works fine... Any ideas why this is happening?

Re: Headlight Issue

Your problem sounds like a connection to me. Perhaps some water got in a quick connect and now you have a bit of corrosion forming. Check all possible plugs and connections for security and cleanlines is where I would start. Then, when the issue is present start checking wiring with a test light or voltmeter to determine continuity. That's my take.

Agree. The connection would be my first place to check. Also, friendly reminder to the OP, it's not a car, it's a Jeep.

Re: Headlight Issue

Thanks guys, pull the headlight out and looks like the connector wasn't locked in and was loose! All good now thanks!
