Re: HELP!!! tired of squeaking.

Thanks for the info about slave cylinder push actuator rod. I just ordered one today they are hard item to find since friggin chrysler and jeep ended the part which i think is a bunch of bs if you ask me. I had to order from a dealer in Ohio, i cant wait till it gets here. Im wondering if the slave cylinder i got to replace when changed clutch wasnt the right rod in it. I hope this takes care of the issue. Thanks again for your help, this issue is driving a lot of people mad and pissing people off. People changing tranneys, changing throwout bearings, clutches, bullshit.

Re: HELP!!! tired of squeaking.

As a tech this would have been the first thing I tried, clearly by the symptom and what you have already said they already knew it was like there was not enough preload on the throwout bearing. This may or may not resolve your issue but it costs 1/100th the cost of other repair attempts and directly correlates with the concern. Good luck! Please follow up if it does or does not fix it!
