With modern vehicles, the delicate clearcoat is a critical factor. I don't trust anyone else to do it but myself, by hand, because I trust and use only Zaino products (available only at their online store) and have done so for the past 16 years. It's rather backbreaking work, really, but you'll get over the pain eventually. And when you see the results, you will be happy.
Beware of most automotive detailing shops. Quite typically, they haven't even heard of Zaino products. Secondly, they typically use lesser products as well as electric buffers, the latter being notorious for causing permanent swirl marks and friction-burns on the delicate clearcoat.
If the clearcoat is damaged due to the prior use of inferior products and/or poor techniques, you can begin to rescue it and prevent further damage with Zaino Z5 polish for scratches and swirl marks.
