Is it worth it

So I just purchased my jk a few weeks ago. I have. Been looking at lift kits but have read reports of lifting voids your warranty. I have even read that some mopar kits will void warranty. So how many of you have said screw it and lifted their jeep? Or did you have a jeep garage that covers your jeep with the warranty?

Anything can void a warranty, even going off-road in a stock jeep can void warranty. People do it anyway.

You may be able to keep warranty if you have dealer install a mopar lift and put it in writing that factory warranty is still good. If it's not in writing you are taking a chance.

I don't remember getting max care. I did buy a lame extra coverage that is pretty worthless. At least how it reads.
I have looked at the teraflex 3" lift kit, maybe get 35's. Or the 2.5" kit with 33's.
Any recommendations is welcome.

I have been trying to do the same as you. I got max care but they told me you can get a mopar 2in lift with 35's but it has to be installed by the dealer. I was looking at aev 3.5, metal cloak 2.5 and tereflex 2.5
I don't know to do

I talked to multiple service departments. I then remembered to call the jeep garage that is owned by the same person that has the Honda store where I purchased my accord. I ended up talking to a service guy that moved from the Honda to the jeep shop.
He said I could install the parts as long as I put everything in correctly it shouldn't cause to much of an issue. He answered many more questions and I know that I will be lifting now. He did say that if I was out of state and needed warranty work I could have problems.

From what I was basically told was if you have a reputable place install the lift and only if something happens that causes the issue then you could have an issue with the warranty but you have to go to a dealer for warranty work that understands lifts and is lift friendly otherwise could be issues

The sad thing is they pride themselves on the wrangler being the most customizable, but the only want you to buy their parts.

Well I'm going for it anyways. Thanks for the responses.
If you all have any other lift kits I should check out, let me know.
