JK 4WD to SRT8 AWD

My Girlfriend and I are looking to buy a JK. She wants to get a 4x4 for now but later we are going to drop a Cammed Blown LS3 with a 6L80 or LSA Motor with a 6L90. We want to know if anyone put the SRT AWD Diff and Axles on a JK Before. Im also new to the Mopar World so i wouldn't even know where to start.

Thanks Guys

Re: JK 4WD to SRT8 AWD

Why would you want too? It doesn't have low range

We plan on making a sleeper race Jeep out of a JK...We just might have to get a custom chassis made.

Re: JK 4WD to SRT8 AWD

Were going to buy a JK sell the Chassis, Create a Custom Chassis with AWD TBSS or a SRT Jeep Front Diff. Make it 80 Rear 20 Front LS3 With a 6L80. Now we just need to find some money on the ground

x2 you would have to maybe use the Durango Tcase system as it has a low range.

but this is dumb your talking about removing a Solid Axle jeep.

and bastardizing it for independent front suspension.

why not just use the d44's and beef them up.

Just look at AEV 6.4 Conversion kit.

Re: JK 4WD to SRT8 AWD

The Wrangler has only a part-time 4WD system. If you want apply the Hemi's power to all the wheels, you might need the full-time AWD system from a GC or similar.
