JK Must Haves

While I wait for my '15 JK to arrive I thought I would start collecting all the little parts that I could think of. Since this will be my first JK I don't yet know all the little quirks/nuances of the interior/exterior. Example would be that my TJ had no "oh $#!+" handles and the doors would open way too wide especially when snatched by the wind so I bought handles for the roll bar and shortened door straps. Does the JK need anything like this? What conveniences did Jeep leave off that are easily corrected?

I'll be ordering:
All weather floor mats
Hardtop Hoist
Bikin Top, Wind jammer and duster

Any other suggestions from veteran JK owners?

Lifts, and other body mods are not on the radar right now so we can save those for another thread.

Grab handles are nice...just depends what you want. Many people are making their own with paracord, cuz that's trendy. Grabars from Welcome Distributing or Grab Bars from Carolina Metal Masters would be al alternative option. They both cost a bit more, but are certainly more robust.

I have the following already for a Jeep that I haven't even officially ordered... Darn you Jeep for pushing out Sunset Orange again!

Anyway:
Trailer hitch & wiring harness
Rock rails w/ step (side protection and short girlfriend)
24" antennaX
Eyebolts for the hardtop to make removal faster/easier
Slush mats
Black barbecue paint (to paint muffler and tail pipe)

Yet to get:
Front D ring mounts (will be removing plastic bumpers and fabbing my own)
Seat covers (waiting until I actually get the Jeep to see what will best match the Sunset Orange)
Will be making my own paracord grab handles (because I can and I like doing it)

The paracord grab handles will work fine, but once you use the solid a-pillar handles from Welcome Distributing (and others) you will never consider going back to rollbar mounted grab handles in the front.

I really like those rock sliders.

If I could ask a couple of questions:

1. Are they the bolt-on or the weld-on ones, and does it make a difference?
2. Other than price, how do the Ace sliders compare strength-wise to the X/Hard Rock sliders? I'm almost ready to buy my first Jeep, and I'm trying to figure out which sliders to get. Thanks.

Barricade also make sliders that work in tandem with the Rubi stock ones but I had about 1 ½" chopped off the backend so they don't rub on the 37"s along with trimming the pinch welds

If I do, I'll do mine DIY. No expensive precut kit for me. I'll see how this winter goes first. I do plan to run a Spider Shade (or something similar) over the front seats and leave that in place even when the hardtop is on the Jeep.

Thought we'd do the same, but the Spiderwebshade vibrates against the sound bar under the soft-top, and the Trek Armor shade on my wife's Jeep, while awesome, makes it virtually impossible to fully latch the Sunrider panels. You can use the windshield header latches and the large bolts, but not the pivoting latches...

DirtyDog 4x4 makes nice products but their front sunshade is impossible to install on the rear bar without modification; is also inconvenient to get to the rear latches and must be unsnapped from the windshield when the freedom tops are in place. Their pet barrier cargo nets are awesome
