I spent a lot of time trying to decide between these or a GOOD quality HID kit. I remember the difference going from halogen to HID on my WJ...I hope this is even better!

I'd love to hear a report once you get 'em in -- I've been going through the exact same thought process. Scott's review sounds great -- one more would probably make that check easier to write...especially since I have two Wranglers to outfit!

Ouch! Well, the fogs came in. I'll hopefully have those installed before the weekend is out. I can do an independent review on just those, and then rince and repeat when the headlights arrive some time next week.

Re: JW Speaker

Well, I haven't been out on the road yet, but so far, I have to say I am VERY impressed with these. I installed the JW Speaker J series headlights and fogs in black today. The installation was straight forward. Headlights were a breeze. Fogs were a little bit more of a challenge only because of access, but nothing a typical Jeeper can't easily handle. The key is to take the grille out, unfasten that plastic piece between your bumper and grille, and remove the plastic "guard" mounted under your front bumper that shields your front swaybar.

The fogs went in first. I had to cut off my OE connectors and wire in the ones included in the kit. Super simple. then remove the 4 phillips head screws holding each assembly to the back of the bumper. Assemble the adjuster spring on the new fogs and screw them in.

The headlights were truly plug and play. 4 torx head screws is all it takes to remove the retaining rings around each headlight. Remove the retainer from the headlight, unplug, and you're ready to roll. Plug the new headlight in, install the retaining ring, and that's it. They look awesome, and are a night and day difference. Here are some photos showing the install, and the difference in light output.

Looks great! Glad it all worked out, and MANY thanks for taking the time to document/review for the rest of us who are contemplating the same move. Well done!
