I've got 1" to go on, too. I'll do the same (when I can get a new card reader to pull the pictures onto my computer).

Rubicon Mark, have you posted pics anywhere yet? Since our jeeps are pretty close in description and I'm 'patiently' waiting for mine, I've been watching for ur pics and have not seen any so wanted to make sure I didn't miss it in a feed somewhere else. Thanks!!

Sorry, Cowgirl, I've only put up a couple: in my signature below, and a closeup of the LED foglights over in the 2017 Info thread. I've been so busy with work, getting ready to transfer from DC to Omaha, and learning to dance with my daughter (wedding this Saturday!) that I haven't even had a chance to put on my spacers.
I'm hoping to be able to put the spacers on today or tomorrow, then go snap-happy with the camera. Failing that, I'll try to put up a couple others tonight.
Mark

No rush Mark. I just wanted to make sure I didn't want to miss it, so I can torment myself so more. LOL

Good luck with the wedding/dancing and your move.

Happy trails!

Re: Leveling kit

If and when you get to put your leveling kit on, would you take before and after pic's so I can see the difference and what size and brand they are.
So I'll know what to use myself.
Thanks Lurch!!!!!!

Re: Leveling kit

OK, guys, 1" Teraflex spacers installed in front. It really was easy. I disconnected shocks, swaybar links, and the brake line brackets to get the axle to droop far enough. Unfortunately, there's no light out for a picture. I'll try to get a driveway shot tomorrow for a good comparison, but meantime here's a garage pic that gives an idea of the look. My signature pic is without the spacers.
Mark

Edit: I just did the front spacers. Down the road I'll probably lift the Jeep, so couldn't see any sense in spending a couple hundred bucks for a full-up kit that I'd just be taking off next year.

Re: Leveling kit

Where did the 1 in. Tera flexible spacers come from, PM me if you don't want to post it. I was just wondering if the 1 in. Was enough or if we needed 1.5 in. To get it level. I couldn't find the before pic.
Thanks for the help.

Lurch!
I got them at Teraflex.com for $17 each.

My sense is 1" did the trick, but I'm anxious for daylight to get a look at it in my driveway and confirm. I've read in other forums between 3/4" and 1" to level it, but I haven't seen anybody that's done a 2017. I guess that makes me the crash test dummy.

To see my signature picture, you would have to go to your User CP and check the box to show them. Or I could add it here (duh!).

I didn't take any measurements (way too scientific!) so I'm just after the perception that he's level. Should be able to see better tomorrow and I'll post side-by-side pictures.

Re: Leveling kit

Just be careful not to go too high in the front as the jeep will look odd if the front is higher than the rear.

I can remember when that stance was cool.

No worries, though. I'm not going any higher on just the front. Honestly, any higher than 1" needs longer shocks or at least shock extensions, I think. I got away with 1.5" spacers (front and rear) on one of my TJs, but the shocks on this 2017 already limit the down travel of the axle.

Anyway, this is just to level it until I do properly lift it.

Re: Leveling kit

Lurch! et al,
Here's a front-to-front comparison. I'm not sure the picture captures it all that well, but 1" in front looks perfect.

I wish now I had taken some measurements before/after for comparison.

The only thing left to do is adjust my headlights since they're now pointed up a bit.
