Lifting Jeep unlimtied 3.5", still need Exhaust spacer W/new DS?

Plan on lifting 3.5", will an exhaust spacer be need if the front drive shaft is replaced with a tom woods 1310? Thx

Yes, You would still need an exhaust spacer with a new driveshaft

I didn't think you had to with a Woods, with it being smaller diameter and no boot. The only reason for the spacer is to protect the boot on the oem shaft.

This is correct. If the front driveshaft is replaced with an aftermarket DS the exhaust spacer in NOT necessary . The fact being the diameter of the aftermarket DS is thinner compared OEM.
