There are a few test cars already on lots but if you plan to order then you have no other option than to wait.
Test cars on dealer lots? First I heard of that. I know they built two saharas in mojave sand but who knows what happens to these test vehicles.

That pretty much sums it up for me too Browndog. Have to say though... I still have my eye on Sarge.
I have decided I will be ordering a Hard Rock JK this spring if the 75th doesn't live up to my expectations. I plan on keeping this Jeep for the next twenty years plus and also keeping it stock right down to those sweet red and black Rubicon decals. I have a CJ5 and a TJ that are plenty modded so there will be no modding for my new baby. For this reason, I have decided to shoot for the stars and get myself the ultimate Jeep... in my eyes anyway. So the only decision for me will be Sarge or Mojave.... time will tell...

Re: Mohave Sand 😎

That sarge fender we saw a couple of weeks ago looked really good. That is the only green I have ever seen that I would buy! I'm thinking sarge is going to be the best wrangler green ever!

I think I still want Mohave sand

AHHHHH!! Why does Jeep do this to us? The agony. Wonder if or when they will at least release a real pic of a JKU in Sarge and Mohave Sand? There is a an Auto Show here in San Diego, Dec 31st-Jan3rd. Think there will be one there?

Not sure about the colors we're waiting on, we do know production of Sarge is January 25th and Mohave Sand February 1. Both might sneak out soon if ArcherAce happens to spot a test vehicle coming through. Hint hint

The 75th unveil is known. If you look back at post #49 of this thread,

"Milous quote"
Official unveiling for the 75th (Sahara) will be at the Detroit Auto Show, January 11th. Pricing will be announced on that date, or slightly thereafter. Ordering date not shown yet but should be in some time in January.

Re: Mohave Sand 😎

Seriously, are we supposed to go off photoshopped pics, the Mohave Sand on a Renegade, pics in a brochure, to decide if we want to order one without seeing one on a "lot"? Is this the way others have ordered their rig when there were late season colors being released?

Lol, not to be a smart a$$ but you sir are obviously new to the Jeep ordering scene. It is this way every year, we are lucky enough to have "insider" information about what is coming up.

Such is true even if you want to order a new color at the start of a model year.

Many of us, including me, ordered without seeing an actual Wrangler in that color, in person, on the dealer's lot. Matter of fact, IMHO, waiting for such would put you agonizingly late in the order cycle.

Its not like you can say, that Mohave Sand is close, but you want your Wrangler painted two shades darker. If you want a light tan, then its simply Mohave Sand or nothing.
