Mohave Sand on a 75th anniversary Jeep Unlimited Hard Rock! Yes sir that is what I want, now the question is when can I order my it? If production starts February 1, 2016, will I be able to order it in December or January?

Who else is in, this is going to be an awesome color and an awesome edition "75th Anniversary", I can't believe there isn't a thread dedicated to it yet!

is there any concrete info out yet on the 75th edition? or mojave sand and what models it will be available on?
No, not that I have seen or heard. I'm just imagining a Mohave Sand JKURHR 75th Anniversary Edition with the olive green leather, remote start, 430 with connectivity and bronze accents!

I can dream,,,
Mojave Sand / Tan Top will be released at the same time as the 75th Anniversary package. Will it be available as a Hard Rock with 75th Anniversary Package ? Good question.

See Donlen link for production release dates.

Looking at that link, interesting to see that HyperGreen is set for a 5/02/16 production date. Looks like the 2016 HyperGreens will hit the lots about the same time the 2017s start rolling in.

Affiliates pricing... have you scoped it out? 1% below invoice?

On Edmunds 2016 JKUHR- 1% below invoice calc out to $47,717 almost loaded.

Damn, I paid $42K for my 10A three years ago...

Thanks Milous and sportcoupe

The pictures of the Grand Cherokee and the JK don't even look like the same color, although I know it is supposed to be. The JK looks like a light Copper Brown and the GC looks like a Sahara Tan.

I went to the dealer the other day and looked at a Renegade, it looked almost in between these two pictures above?

Posted these in the 16 info thread, they're just reference - obvi not JK pics. Took these with my phone last time I stopped by the dealer.

I'm dying waiting, has anyone heard when the ordering banks will open for Mojave yet?

Funny... I've seen pics of this color that are all over the place. Lighter, darker, in between. Looking at this color chart Purple looks right, Billet looks right... Mojave looks darker and browner than what I've been seeing. Fine by me though... I'd rather it be a bit darker than just off white.

I asked Jeep customer service when I would be able to order Mojave Sand, here is their vague response.

Dear John:

It is great to read of your interest in Jeep!

Please be advised, the Mojave Sand is a late availability for the 2016
Jeep Wrangler/Wrangler Unlimited model year. Our resources indicate the
Mojave Sand exterior paint is anticipate to open for order within the
month of January, 2016 with production of these models slated to begin
within the month of February, 2016. Please keep in mind as this timing
is projected, it is subject to change.

Our best suggestion would be for you to keep in contact with your
preferred Jeep dealership as the ordering system changes on a frequent
basis. Your preferred Jeep dealership will be first informed as to when
they are capable of placing an order on your behalf and are the best
resource for the most up-to-date factory order timing and product
information.

Please feel free to sign up for updates on the Jeep brand by visiting https://www.jeep.com/get_connected/.
By signing up, you will receive a quarterly eNewsletter with updates and

If you have any further product questions about the current Jeep lineup,
you are always welcome to reply back to this email and I will respond
back to you as promptly as I can. If you prefer, you can also reach us
directly with your questions at the Jeep Product Information Center by

off operation.

Thank you for your interest in Jeep, John. We wish you the best!

Sincerely,

Nicole

Also scored a few more (crappy quality) pics of Mojave Sand in the wild, really shows the different shades.

Re: Mohave Sand

I thought it was Archer?

Anyway, good. Hopefully people will now stop posting, and re-posting, and posting yet more, pictures of Renegades here. ;)

There's only a couple mojave sand jk's according to Archer. Both are Sahara's unfortunately. I think such a light dune color would look best with black top and flares.

But I'll raise your beers and add hot wings for pictures of sand in the wild.

Jeep's site is showing Mojave Sand as an option (not in the builder, but in other places on the page) so I made this two door like I want it. I'm ordering a sport and having the dealer paint the top when it comes in.

...and hey, at least it's not a Renegade pic

I think Mohave sand is going to look good with black and red accents like the Hard Rocks hooks and Rubicon sticker. I'm just torn, not knowing the 75th details and costs, the Hard Rock is freakin $$$ expensive and I'm sure the 75th will be even more.

Just a little longer for us that are waiting on both the 75th and Mohave Sand!!

I can wait, I can wait, I can wait, aaarrrggggggg:(:D give me a beer :chug:

That pretty much sums it up for me too Browndog. Have to say though... I still have my eye on Sarge.
I have decided I will be ordering a Hard Rock JK this spring if the 75th doesn't live up to my expectations. I plan on keeping this Jeep for the next twenty years plus and also keeping it stock right down to those sweet red and black Rubicon decals. I have a CJ5 and a TJ that are plenty modded so there will be no modding for my new baby. For this reason, I have decided to shoot for the stars and get myself the ultimate Jeep... in my eyes anyway. So the only decision for me will be Sarge or Mojave.... time will tell...

What somewhat bothers me is jeeps staged color releases. No dealer or even jeep customer care can give any updates on when we are able to order or when production will start. All our info is insider information and while greatly appreciated, it is not updated as fast as we would like.

Mojave Sand is still scheduled for Feb 1st production build and should be available to order jan 7th as far as we know.

What are the chances jeep will beat these dates? Slim to none. They may and probably will slip to the right unfortunately. Why? Because I really want to order one asap.
