Re: Need bumper help.....
New to the site but I just purchased these bumpers and got them installed this weekend. They shipped by fedex out of California and showed up a day earlier that predicted. They were packaged nicely and showed up in good condition which was one of my biggest worries. Rear install is a two person job the only two complaints I have are the 1/2" bolts for the tire carrier stand off are to short and don't thread all the way through the nylock nut and the lug nuts that come with the tire carrier are a different size from the factory so you need another size lug nut wrench or a socket to get the spare off. Neither are big deals and i will replace them down the road. The front bumper was an easy install for one person. I utilized the provided LED wiring harness to tie into my factory light switch. The switch that comes in the harness is a bit cheesy. Just as a helpful tip if you got with a rear bumper that has a tire carrier you will need to remove the factory carrier/3rd brake light which will leave three holes in the rear of the jeep. I went all over the place looking for seals and finally found them at a body shop. They gave them to me for free but I had a lot of time spent driving to parts houses.
