New grille and hood catches

I decided to go with a carbon look grille, with a black emblem and black mesh. I also tossed the factory hood latches in favor of these husky Rugged Ridge aluminum ones. Very happy with both! Now I seriously need to upgrade my headlights and fogs....

That's certainly unique, I kinda like it, especially against the black.

Re: New grille and hood catches

I was a little iffy about it myself until it showed up and I unboxed it. Then when the mesh went on, there was no question. Those JW Speaker LED headlights and fogs would really finish off the front end.

I like the grill and latches, the eye brow not so much. They do seem to be catching on with folks though.

Congrats, as long as you love it!

Probably can't install one of these with and Angry Grill but this is the lock I want to put on my hood.

That's a really nice piece! Should be stock!

Thumbs up Re: New grille and hood catches

I really like that grille. I have a Freedom Edition so my grille and front bumper insert are mineral gray. The carbon fiber color would match perfectly.

It installs in 15 minutes flat...super easy to do. Not at all like my old TJ...and for about $100 shipped, you can't go wrong. It replaced the existing...not an overlay.

I'm planning on getting quite a bit of the black plastic done by a hydrographics shop in the near future. Hardtop glass hinge covers, tailgate hinge covers, etc. My WJ had quite a bit done...I love the look of it. They make the carbon grill in the original look, and the "angry" style.
