New JK and Lift kits

How many of you that have lift kits and bigger tires did so while still under warrantee? Also how much of your warrantee does it void doing so? Would I be better off just buying a used jeep if I planned on doing a lifted jeep?
Thanks,
Bill

Re: New JK and Lift kits

You will not void your warranty by adding a lift to your Wrangler. Obviously you won't have warranty coverage for the parts you replace, but you won't void the entire vehicle warranty. Had 18k on the clock when I installed my Rock Krawler 2.5 and 37's. Now once you start regearing, etc then you start getting a little more technical, but just a lift and tires isn't going to hurt anything. Dealers sell them that way so they pretty well expect that people will modify them. Should be just fine.

Re: New JK and Lift kits

Talk to different dealer service managers and see if any of them look past the mods?
