Re: oil leak

I had a leak coming from the weep holes between the engine and transmission. They replace the rear main seal. A week later more drips. They ripped it back apart and started replacing other stuff that seemed to be leaking. Finally they said the dye was all over the back of the block with no apparent source. They call STAR. Chrysler sent a tech to inspect and by his suggestion they are replacing the short block (lower engine). They think it is literally bleeding through the block. Jeep has been there 2 weeks now.

Did they check around the oil cooler valley's? Oil cooler connects to the oil filter housing.
