Re: Ordering and trade in process

Hi, I went to Carmax and got a firm quote for my last Jeep, made the
deal then requested the carmax amount for my previous Jeep, deal done.
My deal was invoice with no dealer fees. I may have got a little more off
but $100 to $200. is not a big deal. Not worth running all over town.
Good Luck with U R deal.

Ordering and finance process

Pat or whoever! When you order a jeep, how does the financing work? Typically how much does the dealership want you to put down on the day you order the Jeep? When do you start making the first monthly payments on the ordered Jeep?

Thanks!

When I ordered my 2014 JKURX in Jan 2014, the dealer was satisfied with a $500.00 deposit. When I financed it payments started one month after I picked up my rubiconx.

Re: Ordering and trade in process

^ that is it. There are only 2 reasons I take a deposit. 1, if I think there will be a price increase between the time you order your Jeep and delivery. This protects us both from a price increase. Chrysler will allow is to claim price protection as long as we have a signed buyers order showing price as well as a dates receipt showing the deposit. We then honor the agreed upon price and are reimbursed the difference by Chrysler. 2, if what you are ordering is the exact opposite of what I would stock. If I don't have a heads up on price increase and you are ordering something I am pretty sure I could sell then I don't even take a deposit.
