Rubicon Hard Rock Price

If it's my money I'm getting it the way I want it. Not how someone else thinks it should be. If I only drive it on sunny days or park it in my living room as a piece of art so be it. It's mine. I've had three optioned out Rubicon unlimited's including one HR and enjoyed them all. I maintained them well and made out great when I traded them in. Loaded Rubicons don't sit around on the lots very long here.

If I want bare bones I'll take my 46' Cj-2a

Re: Rubicon Hard Rock Price

Seems like most people have been 44-46k. I feel those are fair prices by the looks of it.

Re: Rubicon Hard Rock Price

I am going crazy, I am looking to get a 16 HRR with every available option. The prices from the dealers are all over the place as most dont have them and some of the far away one's have tons in stock. one local one would order me one using true car for like 46k with sticker of 51630. What kind of prices are everyone getting on the 16 model and is it just worth going to these group dealers who are offering the bigger discounts?

This is like asking us, if you would be more comfortable in boxers or briefs.

You have to decide if you want to buy off the lot, or to custom order. You have to decide if you want simply the lowest price, or do you also want to "connect" and feel comfortable with the dealer.

Regardless, I am sure you'll be happy with what ever you choose as being your RHR.

Re: Rubicon Hard Rock Price

You could join Tread Lightly and get a guaranteed 1% below dealer invoice. It's not the best pricing you can get, but it would give you a baseline to start from.

Got my '16 Rubicon Hard Rock JKURHR for $44,500 before tax and fees. Auto, 4:10, 430 NAV, Ganite Crystal, black hard top /fenders, Tow package. MSRP was about $48K out here in N. Cali.

Re: Rubicon Hard Rock Price

Argh.

I finally got the green light from the wife to buy my JKU RHR, and while there are a number nearby (Denver area) that have the options I want (Auto, max trailer, 4.10s, auto A/C, black hardtop, remote start), in the colors I'm interested in (pref Hydro Blue, but Silver is good too), none of the dealers are willing to do anything under the Treadlightly 1% under invoice!

A couple of the dealerships are AutoNation stores, and they insist on lowballing my trade-in by $3k on top of not budging on price.

This is frustrating as hell. I want to buy today or tomorrow and no one wants to play ball.

Re: Rubicon Hard Rock Price

If you think your trade is being low-balled then go by Carmax and get a quote from them. It still will be a dealer trade price which is not the best price but it gives you a baseline. If the dealer won't match it you can sell to CarMax but there may be tax implications.

Re: Rubicon Hard Rock Price

It's funny, I hadn't even considered talking to Carmax. Not sure why.

Appointment set up for tomorrow!
