Question Running Boards - Rock Rails

Just ordered a 2014 wrangler unlimited.
I now need to start thinking about other items.
Running boards:
What is the best running boards to help kids get into the jeep?
Is it possible to have running boards and rock rails at the same time?

Ace rock sliders are the best! Extremely durable and usable as steps as well! Love mine.

Re: Running Boards - Rock Rails

Ace are well regarded and made in Michigan... Great stuff.

I have Smittybilt on one Jeep and Body Armor rails on the other, fairly happy with both, though the Body Armor are considerably more compact, kinda similar to the Mopar sliders, at least in how they mount.

Re: Running Boards - Rock Rails

Just placed my order for the ace rock sliders. They work well with the rubicon rock rails. They are a favorite of many. Can not go wrong.

Another reason I went with them as well. Can use in addition to the stock rubicon rails. I can attest to balancing most of the Jeep on one slider with three wheels off the ground with no issues.

I need to find a running board that looks good and is a functional step for kids to get in and out of a new jk 4 door and be installed with the stick rock rails in place.
Any ideas?

Re: Running Boards - Rock Rails

As others said above, ACE mounts with stock sliders in place....not much else out there that I've seen is made to be compatible with them. If they aren't low enough for your kids, I'd mount them up, then figure out a way to fabricate steps. Bolt up some chains, install rope ladders, weld on some steps....

Did you even read any of the six responses to your question?

Mopar? I wouldn't really consider my Mopar rock rails as having useable steps.
