Re: Soft top or hard top?

Besttop makes a soft top insert for the freedom panels you should check out too. Panels are not hard to take out but do involve steps and storing. The soft insert is just the two latches and flips back. Not the same as topless but worth considering. I am in Louisiana and got dual top group but have been using hard top for a year. Trying the soft top for first time this weekend after letting it stretch in sun.

The hard top is probably easier to remove with a hoist than it is to put the soft top all the way down after unzipping windows and storing them. However the soft top comes with you so you can close later away from home if important.

Re: Soft top or hard top?

I went with the dual top option to have whichever I choose. I have a hoist to take off hardtop and will put the soft top on for summer. If I need to remove soft top, easy 4 bolts, a couple of plastic trims, and I can reinstall the hardtop if I want. Best of both worlds like others have said.
