You are correct. My biggest fear is that all colors eventually fade due to UV degradation, and this color may not age well.

I will pass on the Sunset Orange.

There was supposed to be a Copper Brown at Heritage, at least it said so on their website, so after the look-see at Len Stoler today, we drove straight to Heritage, but could not find one on the lot. Nuts

My first choice is Copper Brown...and if that is either too gold, or too brown, I will order Hydro-blue.

Re: Sunset Orange

Ok, we had one of those "red sky in morn" sunrises today and in that light I could see an undertone of red giving it an orangey-salmon look. You could still tell it was orange and it definitely didn't make me think "OMG I've bought a pink Jeep". Even if my Jeep was this color under all lights, it wouldn't insult my manhood to drive it. (Sorry, no pics as I was already geared up and leaving on my motorcycle.)

That said, 95% of the time I've looked at it, it appears to match the brochure picture shot from above in the sand. (The one captioned; "This kind of freedom is yours for the taking") I think that is a pretty accurate portrayal.

Feel free to keep thinking it's pink and changing your orders though, for me the fewer Sunset Orange Jeeps out there, the better!

On another note, this weekend I removed my rear headrests, added rock rails, put in door sill guards, and installed my 24" AntennaX and a console cover.... but still haven't washed the bird crap off the bumper.

Well, the bumper is plastic... but it doesn't matter as I'll be removing the stock bumpers and fabbing up my own.

Sunset Orange

Apparently SO really messes with camera sensors or SO Jeeps just won't let you accurately photograph them to keep you from stealing their soul. This pic blows my mind, ImageUploadedByJeepGarage1415742273.662408.jpgI don't know what happened but this is not the color of my Jeep!

What you are looking at are four different orange seat cover swatches on the hood of my Jeep... The yellow square is actually Blaze Orange!
Crazy how inaccurate this pic is!
