Scary, isn't it? I have been waiting about 52 years for a Jeep. Wanted a 1945 for a long time because that's my birth year. Have to "settle" for a 2015! (Yeah, I am that old!)

I leave on vacation Nov 4th and get back on the 19th just in time to pick her up on the 21st, if the schedule holds up.

Now I have to hustle and figure out what accessories I want to buy for her.

Ideas??

I am getting happy!

Waiting for my new JKUHRR!!

Re: Sunset Orange

ordered a 2015 JKU Willys Wheeler W on 10-17 in Sunset Orange -- Hope the color looks like the brochure. The paint chip swatch the dealer had that had all chrysler colors on it was disappointing but all the online jeep site builder and the actual brochure for wrangler the color looked great. Crossing my fingers!

I ordered a Sunset Orange and I am hoping that the color has more of a red tone to the Orange. I am not crazy about having pumpkin orange.

Re: Sunset Orange

if it truly is the same paint as Hemi Orange it will be on the redder side of the orange spectrum. I have a scheduled delivery date of 11-22 so as soon as I get it I will post pics.

Re: Sunset Orange

You might be the first or one of the first to get a Sunset Orange. Lucky you!

Re: Sunset Orange

I heard there is no rhyme or reason to how they do it. Is yours just a two door? Mine is a 4 door, I have no clue if that would even make a difference.

I wasn't even gonna hope mine came before Christmas now I am really excited. I hope the Sunset is as pretty as the brochure appears.

Yes mine's a two door Sport. My only guess is they schedule the higher margin vehicles first. It's not like I have any options that are likely to be affected by parts shortages.

Color samples, whether in a brochure or web site, are never going to be that accurate. The shade of the color varies with the printing process or your monitor settings.

Since they list the color as Sunset Orange Pearlcoat I'd say it's going to look more like Mango Tango (shown at the top of this thread) than a straight Hemi Orange, which is monochrome (non-metallic).

Re: Sunset Orange

If it has a metallic factor to it that will be great! I can't wait to see it.

Re: Sunset Orange

I see Jeep.com finally updated their website so you can build and view with the sunset orange color. I really love how the Willys looks in orange on the build site but when you go to the Rubicon HR and build it in Orange the color looks totally different. I ordered a Willys in Orange and I pray I like it will it comes in. It was the risk I took ordering site unseen. Est. delivery date is 11-22 so I won't have too much longer to wait. If I absolutely hate it I am sure my dealer won't give me a problem and let me get something else. He would have no problem selling the orange willys.

As far as pearl coat in the name, I am still not sure since in the Past they have listed that on the Gecko Green and I can't see any pearl/metallic in that color.
