Sunset Orange

Hi everyone!
I am new at this site, and new to the world of Jeeps. I fell in love with them over two years ago, and love some of the colors they offer. I am thinking of being somewhat bold and going with Sunset Orange with black accents. I am seriously considering ordering this color in Rubicon Unlimited HR. I just have not seen many pictures of them on the internet, and I am having a hard time picturing this combination. Does anyone have a picture of an actual wrangler in this color scheme?
Thank you so much in advance for your help. This is a great site to share your knowledge and learn about these awesome Jeeps.

Re: Sunset Orange

From the World of Google...

There are a number of pics out there with black wheels/trim as well.

No doubt, it's a sharp color.

Re: Sunset Orange

looks great! Dodge uses great colors with some of their vehicles. Jeep does the same but only with Wranglers. If you like more bold and unique colors don't plan on getting a Grand Cherokee

Re: Sunset Orange

FYI, I don't think any of the pictures in this thread are actually of a Sunset Orange Wrangler. If you check the 2015 information thread at the top of this forum, production of Sunset Orange on the Wrangler doesn't even start until 11/3/2014.

There may be some pre-production photos out there of Sunset Orange, but those above look more like Mango Tango or Copperhead to me (orange colors from years past). From what I have read everyone's best guess for Sunset Orange on a Wrangler is to google the 2014 Easter Jeep Safari Mojo (the orange one) concept.

This place says that sunset orange is the same as Hemi orange

http://paintref.com/cgi-bin/paintdet...Orange%7C63248

I can't personally vouch for its accuracy though

Re: Sunset Orange

If the color looks like the picture you posted, then it's going to be an amazing color, IMO.

Unfortunately, paint codes aren't unique with Chrysler.

For example, the new-for-15 Tank color uses the same paint code, PGK, that was also used for the Deep Green Metallic color Chrysler offered a few years back.

I am not new to the Jeep world at all owning just about every model made of the wrangler. I currently have a 03 TJ Rubicon. I am Also considering buying a new JK unlimited Rubicon in sunset orange. I would like to see lots of pictures including the hood and front and rear bumpers. I am from a small town and dont have the opportunity to see the inventory of the large big city dealers. Thanks

Re: Sunset Orange

Unfortunately this color won't start production until at least November so it will most likely be somewhere around the first of the year before they start hitting lots. Until then, no pictures because there is nothing built to take a picture of.

Re: Sunset Orange

Is the Rubicon hard rock ( or X) worth getting? Is the hood the only difference? I love the look of the hood but not sure if it's worth and extra $4k.
