vibration from front end between 50-60mph

Hello i have a TJ 05 and only between 50-60 mph on highway i get a mild vibration sometimes its more noticable. I got new tires and alignment , balanced but sfill the vibrafion is there. I got under the front end and grabbed the driver side axle u joint and pull back and forth and it has slight play. Could this be the cause of the vibration at highway speeds? What else can i check?

Re: vibration from front end between 50-60mph

I would rotate tires first to see if anything changes - might be bad tire.

It also might be a bad cv joint.

Checkout the link you replied to in "coachrodg " front end problems thread. It will direct you to all areas of the front end that could be culprit of vibration.
