Thank you kindly! I was not sure if it would get lost in that large thread.
I am looking at Jeep's comparison tool in "detailed" list for an hour now and I must be missing something. WW two door I am looking at is 28,200 (2016) plus A/C is $29,500. But WWW is $30,300
Running down the whole list til I am blind, it looks like this makes me pay $800 more ($1,00 more considering I lose window tint included on the WW, but exclude on WWW) more for nothing?
Is this some kind of pricing error based on the four door model including power windows and doors, and the two door model excluding it? Or is this the correct info? Seems backwards in that here are more windows and door actuators included in four door which includes the actual equipment compared to two door which does not? Is it $800 for the wiring harness upgrade part?
I feel bad as I was going to surprise my son who is in Airborne coming back from his third tour and he has a picture of my dad for whom he was named, around a Willys just before his first intense combat during the battle of Luzon with the 11th Abn. in early 1945.
If this is not a pricing mistake on the website, am I better off setting up a "Sport S" with options of A/C, and the other WW options such as mid range gearing (@ 3.73), the Dana 44 in back with Limited Slip, and rails as optional add ons? The decals would be highly sentimental, but I can't see paying $800 to 1,000 for them.
