Question Winter Tires

I take delivery of my 2016 Willy's Wheeler at the end of this month. As I live in the snow belt I am looking for advise on what tires I can use year round that provide decent control on snow and more importantly ice. So far I am considering the BF Goodrich T/A K02 and the Goodyear DuraTrac.
Also, as I want to use the 17 inch wheels that come with the Jeep, can I go with 275/70R17?

Re: Winter Tires

You going to use spacers? You going offroad?

I got the ko2s about a month ago and have taken them off road. Nice tire. Have not really had them in snow yet. It was 65 degrees yesterday. Crazy for Dec.

Yeh. The weather here is like Spring. I do go off roading however not rock climbing. You plan to use spacers. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Re: Winter Tires

I have the KO2s with 1.5 spacers. I am wondering if I keep the spacers for winter... just to protect the paint from the wheels splash. When no spacer, the wheels sits in the fender . We normally get lots of snow here in Quebec
