0-60mph 4.2 stock 2015.

Had about 100lbs of stuff in the back, spare tire and tow pkg equipped vehicle, half tank of fuel and my gf (110lbs) along for the ride. I'm 220. Did 4.5 then 4.2. 2000 rpm launch. Held brake and gas a little while but rpms didn't rise like they did once before. Anyway I checked street and it seems pretty level. Not down hill by any means. In fact the 4.2 was probably on a level to very slight incline. Needless to say I was shocked to see a 4.2 but it felt like a super strong run. 29f outside. Tire pressues were around 32-33 as the truck was fully warmed up and on the freeway right before this launch. Can't wait to see what she runs in the 1/4. Has to be low 13's in negative DA.

4.0 in my 15' bone stock but I think these timers aren't very accurate. True test is at the drag as mentioned.

Why do you say they aren't accurate? The WK calculators are very accurate.

What do you guys get on just stepping on it in auto mode and no launch mode? I got 5.9secs. Is that normal?

Because jeep claims it's 4.8 seconds. I'm assuming all of our stock jeeps aren't all faster than the claimed times from the factory.

No...factory times are never very accurate. Same reason that 707 hp in the hellcat isn't a real rating. It was a marketing thing.

Re: 0-60mph 4.2 stock 2015.

Not sure how accurate these timers are but when jeep rates the srt at 4.8 seconds I'm going to go out on a limb and say that I was probably in better air. Meaning my time should be corrected as I had to be in negative da that evening. I plan To hit taco in early April. I want to get a base line run in prior to installing my gt haus system. Glad to see others running strong numbers to. I was under the impression this was a mid low 0-60 sub. I have been pleasantly surprised at how the hemi moves this tank about.

Re: 0-60mph 4.2 stock 2015.

If they give a time that is to high, no one complains that it is faster. But vice versa could you imagine the lawsuits that would happen.

Oh I agree 100%! But I wasn't expecting 20% better times. That's what I'm surprised at. Plus, in general, it's quicker than I thought it was going to be now that the engine is loosening up. Mpg going up too as an added bonus lol
