If he had said that, instead of a class action lawsuit, methinks he would have gotten more positive feedback, lol

Re: '12 & '13 Owners - Class action suit against Jeep

This is the most hilarious thread I have read in a long time. The only way this could be any better is if this actually sees a courtroom and then becomes a reality tv show. Hopefully someone from Jersey Shore is available to bring things back down to earth.

Ps if anyone needs me I will be suing Panasonic for coming out with an even more gigantic and awesome tv than my gigantic and awesome tv without my permission. I'll also be suing the space time continuum, the Easter bunny, and Marty from back to the future.

But seriously, I'll be here with popcorn waiting for updates.

-They early-released the '14 model year, thereby hurting resale and trade-in values of the two previous years.

-They rushed the '12 to market without fully developing it. It should have come with all the "improvements" the '14 now has. The 8 speed transmission for starters. LED tail lights should have been included from day 1 on the design of the WK2. "Face lifts" are an acceptable mid-generation improvement. All the other items the '14 has aren't.

-There is no "loyalty money" or "incentives" for existing WK2 owners to upgrade to the '14. Jeep/Chrysler doesn't give a damn about their existing customer base.

Please PM me or email me at theyscrewedus@yahoo.com if you would be interested in being included. All responses will be held strictly confidential and not posted up on any forum. Please let me know any thoughts you have and what you personally would like to see get accomplished.

Thank you.

-Spartacus (I myself own a 3 month old '13 that is now considered "a year old")

Wow buddy you better open up your class action against every manufacturer in the world if you think that any of this is actually wrong.

First off ANY incentives on the 2014 will further lower your trade in value. Loyalty works for people who have cars for more than 3 years not 3 months.

God forbid you buy a European Lux SUV someday, They do exactly what you talk about, 3 years production (yes your years are off) update/refresh with LED Tail Lights wow.... maybe two to three more years of sales and ground up rebuild. So what if it came to market 6 months early, so did the late 90's suburban yippie!

I agree with just about everyone else here, you won't get anything out of this.... I am still a Jeep owner wanna be but I know the car industry very well and I will Make the following statement.

Your 2013 is the 3rd year of that generation. It was completely redesigned and built on the Mercedes ML Platform.... It is a highly regarded and awarded vehicle and almost ever person I have met who have them love them. Your Truck is the reason I am buying a 2014 so good luck convincing anyone on your "rushed to market".

Again, wow. BRTT.... Best Read of The Day

Oh forgot, better include Mercedes in your lawsuit as they helped rush that platform to market for you. They are totally responsible too!

But doesn't that only apply to "most" people? There are special people who are always entitled to more.

Re: '12 & '13 Owners - Class action suit against Jeep

There are a lot of stupid aspects to this suit. The best one though is that there is a post from the would-be lead attorney threatening the suit, on a forum whose primary appeal is to talk about Jeep future models - including historically reliable information from Chrysler employees. This is like jumping into a pool and claiming that you didn't know you would get wet. The best part is that he is recruiting people from the exact same site who all had access to the exact same information! So not only will the lead attorney be compromised, so will most of the co-plaintiffs. Also, now that suit has been threatened publicly, Chrysler, who monitors these boards, will have certainly archived relevant portions of the site to defend against it.

Just kidding! No they won't! They don't care! They're golfing because this lawsuit will never happen!

Fore!
