Any indication when/if some of the "big boys" (Car and Driver, Motortrend, Road & Track) will release a review and some figures?

I posted a pic of the proof....done at COTA on a warm day

Agreed. Just what we need is a factory 700 horse SRT Jeep that MSRP's at 105K. Or how about 600 horses for 85K or 550 horse for 75K. You can hash the power vs cost all day long and there are still going to be drawbacks.

When the bolt on blowers kits finally show up things will change.

Re: 14' Jeep SRT vs. BMW X5m vs. Cayenne GTS

I had snagged the larger pic from the female journalist that achieved this time earlier in the other srt thread. She tweeted the pic to Ralph Gilles.

4.3 is very possible and some have said even lower. So for these guys to hit a 4.8... I think like Scott said, bad road conditions, added in muggy Texas weather (not as cold as some testing has been done in)

Regardless - I'll happily take this over the other two.

Re: 14' Jeep SRT vs. BMW X5m vs. Cayenne GTS

So in 2016 when SRT brings something new to the table, the rumor was always a Cuda but I've spoken with some people that were at the General Managers meeting for Chrysler held in Vegas, where they rolled out prototypes, what's coming down the pipe, what they're working on etc.. this was a year or so back, they had the 2014 Jeep GC SRT there etc way back then, with headlights etc, 8 speed transmission etc, the same one we see now, they were still tweaking a few things mind you.

Anyway... he said they are not doing a Cuda as it would someone eat the Challenger sales etc. They had canned the idea while back or something. For all I know he was told this and its untrue.

My question - how many of you think *maybe* a SRT Hellcat (or something similar) would be possible? Not a Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT Hellcat - just the SRT Hellcat (striping the Jeep name from it much like the striped Dodge from Viper)

Crazy thought?

Is 47 degrees warm? I would have thought it was a good temp for a run.

Re: 14' Jeep SRT vs. BMW X5m vs. Cayenne GTS

0-60 looks quick (great launch control and traction) but 1/4 mile seems "slow." But no idea how heat soaked this one was when the run was made I suppose.

Re: 14' Jeep SRT vs. BMW X5m vs. Cayenne GTS

Here in Germany a srt 8 2013 costs about 70 tsd euro.

BMW X5m 100 Tsd Euro
Porsche Cayenne Turbo S 155 Tsd Euro

I think these prices are nuts.

For me, the SRT 8 is the best Deal for an Power SUV

The Problem is, to get one.
