'14 low mile owners, do you have all 470hp?

First off, I took delivery last week and the jeep has been a blast thus far. I'm trying to get through the initial break in period and rack up some quick miles. As of today, there are about 275 on her.

I noticed something strange in my SRT performance pages. When I am in the "engine" menu, I notice the HP from roll on pulls only tops out at about 425-430 hp and at the very top of the rpm range. Only roll ons so far, I haven't launched it yet.

I'm not sure if what I am experiencing is normal for new '14s or not.

Am I missing out on 40-50hp? Is this something you guys also noticed? I wouldn't be worried normally, but the app is clearly topping out in the 425-430 range and NEVER shows higher.

(Already did a battery disconnect )

I'll let you in on a little secret. If you become a Premium Jeep Garage Member, you also get a special code that you can enter that will unlock the horsepower governors on this vehicle vehicle granting you the remainder of the 470 flywheel HP. ;)

Or you can wait until your engine breaks in. I also noticed my MPG is steadily increasing from an initial 12mpg to 16mpg and I only have 550 mixed miles on the clock.

Ha, I'll get on that :)

I'm thinking most of these "concerns" will go away at higher miles.

Curious to know if there is hard coding in the ECU to govern the engine for initial miles. I highly doubt there is a magical "unlock" that happens internally once a milage threshold has been achieved.

these really start to wake up the more miles you out on them. My 13' was at 7-8k miles when I traded it and it was starting to become a beast.. The more miles I put on this 14'...the more beastly it becomes! FYI-I have driven an 8k mile 14' that ran a 3.9 0-60 time
