The wire used to make those springs was brittle and obviously out of spec. Not even gonna speculate why because i do not have it in my hand.
First off. If we could get an unbiased test of the following: Brand new Jeep on Eibach, Brand new Jeep on RM, and have a professional driver race them at the track. I'll put $100 (not much I know) down that the Eibach will beat the RM Jeep. Road course that is. I have never in my life heard of softer springs equating to better cornering. There's a reason Track mode on every car known to man stiffens the springs. Additionally, all RM owners talk about how much smoother they run compared to stock. Just sayin!

Now, to the more important topic. Do you have any sources on low grade aluminum ingot or remelted scrap? Particularly A380/A226 and A356. They don't have to be ingots, but I need homogeneous sources of aluminum without any contaminates.

NOTE: I'm not defending the longevity of Eibach. Only that they'll rape a RM equipped Jeep on the track. But hey, with RM you can be slammed like an Ese and not spill your latte on your way to the Rotary Club meeting.

Re: '14 SRT, Front Suspension Collapsed?

First off...lets get some facts straight.[maybe not facts...since someone will nit pick that...but best info available] Both eibach and roadmagnet are progressive springs
..meaning progressive rate springs are springs that you see which are wound tighter at the top, then the coils widen afterwards. At least the most progressive springs i know of...

-one of the reason is for street comfort and ride quality. the tighter wound coils at the top cushion softly and has lower rates. and as you corner harder, the tight wounds collapse and simply goes to compressing the wider coils with higher rates. One thing to know of progressive rates springs... they ride soft until you corner hard! The lower the initial rate...the softer the ride UNTIL you start getting aggressive and cornering hard etc. Thats when the higher number at the bottom of the coil handles the load.
So FACTS about the NEW eibachs and the RM mids...just to choose two. All these numbers came from the manufacturer.

OE front rate[these are linear springs so rate doesnt change]-537 lb ft.

Eibach fronts-588-874 lb ft.
RM mids-200-1000 lb ft

OE rear-again linear springs-897 lb ft.

Eibach-400-982 lb ft.

RM mids-200-1000 lb ft.

Again....the lower the rate the softer the ride....but the higher the rate at load...the better the handling. So in reality....both load rates are similar...so they should handle the same under load. The eibachs initial rate...not under load..is higher....the reason why it rides stiffer not under load. But under load....both springs are pretty close...so they should handle closely. Get what Im saying. You have to choose...eibachs ride stiff just cruising the mall or when cornering. The RM mids rode smoothly until you get them under load when driving aggressive. Hope that helps and puts an end to this nonsense.

I'm sure that you wanted to indicate that shock valving--not spring stiffness--is altered in Track modes: shocks control the oscillation of the springs, and--in this context, at least--shocks are the alterable components in adjustable suspensions.

In Track mode, the stock adaptive damping suspension on the Jeep SRT is set to the firmest levels of compression and rebound.

One thing is for certain, these "new" Eibach springs are too goddamn stiff, and...

That's what the girl on the picnic said.

You know...youve called my character into issue several times here and instagram...and I dont appreciate it. That needs to end today.
I have no ill will towards anyone or any company. Im just posting my opinion and facts as I know them. Imho the roadmagnets on my jeep are far superior to the eibach kit in handling, comfort, road manners and performance.
Im sorry some dont agree with that or have other agendas. I have no agenda. If I did I wouldnt provide this website and all the info contained here to 99% of those here for free.

The nonsense comment was to those beating a dead horse with 0 numbers or info....just opinion. I posted the numbers and hope it helps bring an end to the uninformed opinions. The numbers are right there now. No more nonsense of one rides stifd and outhandles...but ine is lower and rides softer. The numbers just dont say that.

I sold the broken springs we tracked back to me.

I have been in touch with the owner an helped him get a warantee and that's not even my job or responcibility and I think the owner can vouch for this as I've done some stuff I sure had no hand in LOL.

BTW just got off the phone with someone who tells me their 4.55" off the ground in the front with the Bwoody springs. Can someone tell me what that drop should be thought they where 1" front or something? He wants a front splitter but I'm 8-8.5 may be even 9" on a 1" front drop Mid level not sure he sould do one with the front that low I thhough the mids where 6-7" with the extremes if I remember correctly?
