The pics of broken coils show the facts. Ive not seen any other jeep springs broken in two.

And the corrosion actually protects the aluminum.

Re: '14 SRT, Front Suspension Collapsed?

The new eibachs look like on paper they are a good spring although only a very small drop
My Jeep has had Stock springs eibachs Bwoody progressive and now has King Springs

I don't think they'd be easy to find in the USA and I don't have the specs on them they are on eBay though

They could be improved a little with a firmer rear rate as the car squats a bit on launch

But they are really well matched to sport and track mode

That said there is another option made by them but for another company so they aren't an identical spring the rate and drop is slightly different and they are a blue color spring

In a local magazine the car fitted with these blue springs has a better lap time than one with eibachs and more power...

Also had a terrible set of eibachs in a Chrysler 300, they were rubbish

That and this car and one other I've had with eibach and wasn't happy with any LOL

You are right I probably would be dramatic and jump to that conclusion if it happened to me. Very true.

It doesn't show any facts about the quality of the product b/c no one knows the history of the coils or how/when they were acquired. For all we know they could have been a tradeshow sales sample not intended for installation.

I never said that it didn't...you're trying to make a point of something that doesn't need a point to be made. Considering these coils aren't aluminum, I'm not even sure why the heck we are talking about aluminum properties.

Ok ok ok...not gonna argue with you. I will let people read this thread and make their own assumptions. The pics are pretty telling.

I already think OEM is low enough, but .7/1.3" is a pretty decent drop for a lot of owners. Given some of the roads and parking lots I have to navigate, I wouldn't want anything lower...ymmv. I'm worried the new Eibach may be too low for me, but we will see in a week or so.
