Re: 2012 Grand Cherokee SRT8 - MSRP Pricing

There's a period between the 2 sentences. And this isn't the first time Milous has stated an open-ended comment of "no SRT models have been built". I haven't heard of any Charger or 300 guys having theirs built.

I could check with the plant, I know for a fact that quite a few SRT8 300/Charger/Challengers have been built for retail but not sure if any have shipped out yet.

Re: 2012 Grand Cherokee SRT8 - MSRP Pricing

Well I officially cancelled my order.

I bought a 2010 Inferno Red GC SRT8 fully loaded except for the Kicker sound system with 10125 miles for $39,500.

I will be buying the Kicker kit and installing it soon.

Anyone selling the Kicker kit? Any good recommendations where to get a killer price on it?

Thanks in advance.

you do not have to check for me. I just know that a couple days ago I was perusing many forums online to get an idea of whether their forums had such a big discussion as we do here on orders/pricing/etc. and I must say I was shocked to not find much. And no one who had stated theirs was built or on its way.

Re: 2012 Grand Cherokee SRT8 - MSRP Pricing

Just received a phone call from a local dealer asking if I would like to put in an order for an srt8 (I have one on order from another dealership already). I asked if they had any in stock/on order and they said no...as they are expected to arrive in NOVEMBER!! I then explained I had one order already with another dealership.

I'm not saying it's true or false....just relaying the info givin to me.

Remember, don't shoot the messenger.

Congrats, I kick myself everyday for selling my '06 SRT8, especially since the girl that bought it totaled it (not her fault) 2 weeks after she bought it, and it was PERFECT.

Re: 2012 Grand Cherokee SRT8 - MSRP Pricing

My dealer keeps insisting I can't cancel the order I placed back on June 15th. He is stating it is already scheduled for production. Has anyone else successfully cancelled with their dealer? I put a $2000 deposit down, which at the time wasn't a big deal. I'd rather get a cts-v with 5k miles on it but don't want to flush the $2000 deposit. Any feedback (except for "why did you put $2000 down") is welcome.

I am not getting a returned phone call or email. I want to get mine canceled and they know it. I have not been told I can't cancel but I'm sure they are not calling me back for a reason.

Re: 2012 Grand Cherokee SRT8 - MSRP Pricing

It is illegal (at least in PA) for dealers to keep deposits especially because there was no pricing at the time of order. I didn't even have to put a deposit down with my order because pricing wasn't released yet. I haven't officially canceled my order because my dealer has yet to inform me of the price! I have a VIN# so order can't be cancelled anyway. Dealer must take delivery and just sell on lot. I figure I'll at least take it for a test drive when it comes in, then cancel, lol.

My dealer didnt even ask me for a deposit at the time of the order. I am however going to give him a $50 payment this week just make sure my pricing holds (in case xler tries to raise the price somehow...) If they dont want to give your deposit back simply tell them you will be sure to let other customers know of you experience on the internet. Im sure they will start to come around after that. Also not sure why the hell they would hold yur deposit when they know they will be able to sell that rig no problem. The GM at the dealership will probably want it bad, my dealership told me that when mine comes in and the GM sees it he will want to order one.

Tell them you aren't happy about the pricing and want your money back. I'm sure they can't legally keep your money for a product that did not even have a price yet when you ordered it.
