Seems they will be releasing the prices after buyers have taken delivery...

For me buying the 07 SRT Jeep was a multi purpose reason. I for one could write it off for business use, it was different and I just had to be different then everyone here in my town, it was fast another plus, however I never bought it for the SUV use, my back section short of a gym bag or football equipment has never been used for anything more, the SUV use for most SUV for off roading capabilities is obsolete on the SRT so basically for me it was fast, different, and a write off so comparing it to other vehicles that give me the same feeling is why I compare it to sedans short of not getting the write off due to the weight requirement (which the new SRT Jeep does have). So QuickOne I get ya brother no hard feelings.
Wade,
I am fully aware of your background via the forums and understand we're talking two seperate reasons for both performance pages and buying a vehicle.
I would never use any measurement device beyond a track time for anything official, but playing around they're pretty cool.
If I didn't need an All weather, cargo hauling, kid packing vehicle that I wanted to just go fast, have good fuel economy, cost less and have better resales, I would agree that the Jeep is not that vehicle.
I love your Cayenne so I know you appreciate a fine ride. But comparing a GCSRT8 to a finer car with less capacity isn't fair to the very capable SRT8.
I would love to be driving a 2 door coupe, and I'd prefer to get the RS5

But since I have 2 kids, (6, 3 and one due in a month,) putting baby #3 in the middle seat in the back of a 2 door, just ain't happening.
I also would be forced to use my 2010 F-250 to tow my boat to the lake while the rest of the family rides in another car.
The Jeep fills the needs of function best, while providing a great speed and handling factor.
If the latter 2 were the priorities over the function, the Jeep would not be on my list.
/done.

Very curious why no pricing has been announced. A correction would take this long. Maybe requoting vendors to get final reduced pricing if possible?

What's the price tag on the RS5? Isn't it roughly 90k? Absolutely beautiful car, even the S5 is a awesome car.

I've been around all day actually... replying to PM's, checking various internal sources for any sign of pricing updates, checking tracking for 2011 and 2012 models... they keep me very busy around here!

Haha, not a chance. EVEN if I liked the Cayenne Turbo, about all I could afford would be the wheels and tires!
