Re: 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 is a GO!

can someone confirm what i heard? the 2012 srt8 is going to cost upwards of 60gs, 70gs with full options?

in all honesty, i'd rather buy a fully loaded x5 for that money. granted i did pay 50gs for my 2010 srt8, but that was with full options. to put up 15-20gs more is asking alot.

i hope i heard wrong

Re: 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 is a GO!

Absolutely not!

My guess is it will be just like 06-10, priced similar to a fully loaded Overland.

where did you hear that parry? that would be a huge upset in the making. surely corp would know that would devastate the fan base and etc. hope thats not the case cause ill be done with my payoff on my 2010 short after next summer and i might just finance another one with a heavy downpayment from next years christmas bonus im in line to receive.

Re: 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 is a GO!

I heard it from a friend, no one related to Chrysler in any way, but hes really knowledgeable about these trucks. he said he found out from a dealer when he was inquiring about the 2012 srt. the dealer said that the increase in price was due to a limited production, increase in costs, and what he called "inflation"

i guess we'll just have to wait and see. i figured i would drop the gossip here to see if anyone else heard something like that

Re: 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 is a GO!

i sure hope not. waiting between production years like they did certainly has wallets ready to pay what ever the price they shill out though..(all things considering buyers that havent gotten a SRT8 yet)--theyll pay more than anyone of us who already has one. hope it stays in the same range, ill accept a lil bit more but not a import status price. we'll see

Re: 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 is a GO!

Take a full loaded Overland and add about $3-5K.

There is NO way it will be in the $60k or above range as it would kill the targeted age group and really I wont buy a $60 SUV with under 500HP would you?

Parry whats up kid? Tony fromn Matrix LOL!

Re: 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 is a GO!

No, I meant what I wrote, 06-10. There was no 05 SRT. I should know since I owned on of the first 2800 ever built.

The guy at the stealership is a liar. They have always been "limited" production.

No stealership, not a single one knows the pricing on the new SRT. PERIOD!

Nice I was told mine was one of the first 1000 off the line in 2006 as it had a build date of 2005.

Damn I kind of miss that truck.

Mark bevsjeep and myself were the first guys with KOOKS headers on these rigs (SRT8) breaking into the 12's in 2006 was a major thing, how far we have come.

at the most $57-$60 Fully loaded...the 60-70 range is probably with a dealer premium
