Haha yeah I was one of the first in my city to buy the Overland but I got a decent price when I did some comparisons to what others paid in my city. As for the new SRT8 I really hope it wont break the 65K CAD mark, I'm just going to trade in my Overland when it comes out but rest assured the day before I trade her in I am going to bag the crap out of it LOL screw you dealership!

Yep.

I'd expect $45K to start and and just under $50K fully loaded.

Re: 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 is a GO!

There is no way it will be over $55k fully loaded, the only thing I dont want is the rear VES system so that will minus $2k right there im expecting to drop about $50k on one either way.

I have a brand new Overland for trade in too But I am enjoying the Overland big time I must say.

Will the SRT8 have QuadraLift as well? I know it's going to have a harder tuned suspension for the street but I hope the off-road capabilities will match the Overland

Re: 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 is a GO!

If the Overland uses its brakes to simulate front LSD like behavior..... what will the SRT use? I would hate to have a one wheel wonder almost as much as trying to launch hard but having the brakes come into play.

I'd love having the QL system on the SRT8.

Then it could compete head-to-head with vehicles like the Porsche Cayenne Turbo and Range Rover Turbo. Both of which combine great Onroad handling while still maintaining some Offroad ability.
