No, but the Overland does have adjustable air suspension (along with the majority of the upgrades in the SRT) AND cost LESS than the previous gen Overland

Also, the previous gen SRT had a 6.1L Hemi and cost less than the Overland. The 6.4 with MDS is the same as the previous gen 6.1 only bored out for the extra .3L and added the MDS technology (that already existed on the previous gen 5.7L).

So you take it while I bitch.
So take a minute to read the OTHER 100 threads on the costs. Don't chime in with these great posts, trying to insight the same discussions had 100 other times in the other threads.

I am curious to see how this prices out down there, as up in Canada, it's cheaper than WK1 SRT8.

Barho...Are you positive it's the same engine? Intake manifold is all new, along with a much more complex MDS system than existed in prior years.
Can you show me the 2010 Overland price vs the 2010 SRT price. MSRP?
Also, please show me the new WK2 Overland MSRP vs the Wk1 Overland MSRP.
Chrysler is using some fancy wording to make it appear less by taking away features that were standard in other models. In reality, it's not. A fully loaded WK2 vs a fully loaded WK1 is not cheaper.

There are tons of differences (over 50 New additions) between the new Wk2SRT8 and the old WK1 SRT8.

Again...This has been KILLED and BEATEN in threads before this.

Here's a few for your reading pleasure:

Can't give you the comparison for a 2010 Overland, cause the Overlands were not built in 2010.

Here are some comparison for what I have found for 2009:

2009 SRT8 MSRP (eff Feb 1 2009) - $43,745 (wkjeeps)
2009 Overland MSRP - $44,845 (Consumer Automotive Guide)
2011 Overland MSRP - $42,295 (Yahoo Autos)

EDIT - and the "over 50 new additions" in the WK2 SRT......most of those are in the WK2 Overland.

They decoupled options to make it "appear" cheaper. There were more standard features on the 2009.

Oh I'm sorry quickone if my opinions bother you. My God I will think of you next time I make a remark about something to make sure I don't bitch too much.
Why don't you go make another poll to see what people think about things. You already done like 50 of them so one would think you are interested in knowing what people thinks.

Think you are making things a bit too personal, but I can't see why. Maybe you need a hobby?

C'mon, really?!

The WK2 is by far a much better vehicle all around than the 2009. The WK2 Overland includes adjustable suspension. Decoupling a few features here and there makes up for the fact that this FAR better version is $2,600 LESS than an 09 Overland?

Who are you trying to convince?

They should give you a free appointment with a proctologist after you buy one since Jeep is ripping you a new one with their pricing

There's a place to bitch and it's in the thread titled after your bitch. Not a 1/4 mile thread.
I do have a hobby, and it's called Jeeps. I'm only trying to keep things organized and the topic on point. I'm tired of hearing on every thread, about the pricing, which is irrelevant to the OP's topic.
As for the # of polls I have done, (which is maybe 6) is to see what peoples opinion is. So go post your opinion on price in there and again, not in the 1/4 mile in 13.81 thread.

Re: 2012 runs 13.81

As for the standard features comparison. Below are the standard features for the WK2 SRT8. I have bolded those features that are also standard on the Overland (with many standard on the Laredo in fact).

Sorry, but the price increase is not warranted. Any one who thinks they are getting some great deal needs to be aware that all they are getting is a vehicle that should be priced far lower.
