2012 SRT8 Dyno Tune VS Stock Tune & Race Gas Mix

Ok i was looking at my times with a stock tune with my race gas mix and a group members time with mods of cmr dyno tune, cai and exhaust and there was about 70 lbs diff in our body wt with both 2012 srt8 jeeps. His 91 octane dyno tune was on same day as our runs on that night at IRWINDALE DRAG STRIP. His dyno tune was on a dynojet and it put out 415 hp and 426 lbs tq and his runs were on 91 octane and mine were with a bone stock tune and no mods with 98 octane of (2.5 gal 91 and 2.5 gal vp109). HERES THE RUNS.
ME................................HIM
RACE WT.....5492 LBS....5422 LBS.
DA.............+124 FT......+ 124 FT
60'.............1.80...........1.84
330'...........5.31............5.33
1/8 MILE.....8.26...........8.26
MPH...........82.87.........83.30
After the 60' he was catching up. So i guess my hp was about eq to his dyno tune and mods in the 1/8 mile and he probably would be faster in the 1/4 mile and his wt advantage of 70 lbs was werth .05 in the 1/8 mile. I wished i dynoed mine bone stock and with the gas mix just to see what what the diff would be.

Jim Jim Jim I keep telling you data logging is the only way to tune. You get the feel for the whole car down to the traction at the start....anyway all in all you run well with your lack of mods on your gas mixes. I still don't like Adams tuning and probably never will.

You have to remember at my age im hard of hearing lol. Im just glad that with my V6 i dont have to worry about tuning or race gas lol. Yes in today racing you need to log your runs as we didnt have that in the 50/60/70 lol. Dyno tuners and e mail tuners are all diff as you no as theres good tuners and bad ones. I wonder what the other jeep would of ran with a race gas mix that night with his 91 gas tune?

It happens I'm sure I'll be the same way when I hit your age. Hope the weather is good for us tomorrow, see you then!
