Well, 200 miles after a battery reset and it's as bad as ever. Waiting on software.

How many kms did you start having issues with drivetrain?

Also, why did you have to replace your steering wheel?

Everything working good at 450kms for me. I was built just after you I think. Refer to tracking page. I just wish drivers would get out of my way. I feel more impatient in this vehicle than my f150 truck.

Let me do the math, I used to work in Alberta so I should be okay...hmmm...alright...I think it started about 350km from new, was relentless until about 5000km when I had the tranny swapped. Tranny didn't fix the problem at all, so I had an FCA engineer look at it (all this is laid out in other posts above). After the full battery reset, it went back to full clunk-n-jerk (or jerk-n-clunk depending on how you look at it) within about 100km.

Steering wheel was replaced do to defective stitching and a loose flap of leather under the right side where the adaptive cruise buttons are.

14 SRT, Downshift issues since day one, 2 new valve bodies and all software update, still has the problem, no clunk though........ I've read where even having the trans replaced hasn't fixed the problem for some, and the problems extend to the 2015's also

I have a 15' srt with a build date of 9/14. I had the problem of a clunky downshift from 6-5. I just got the latest TSB transmission update and the clunky shift is almost totally gone! The map update is for 15' model srt with a build date from 7/14-10/14.

Do you have the TSB number for the update?

Did they JUST release this update? I knew from speaking to the engineer that they were working on one for 2015's specifically to address this issue, maybe this is it?

I hope it stays that way for you, from my experiance so far with a 2014, they start out better, but as they learn, it seems like the trans gies back to it's old ways, this time I'm going to see what happens after a few thousand miles get on my SRT

That is awesome. Good luck.
Any more info you can share with us?
Let us know if this takes care of the clunks permanently. Thanks!

Awesome news. I'll have it installed before I pick mine up. Hopefully sometime this week. Thanks for the heads up.
