Re: 2014 fog lights?

Hmmmm

Im really stumped on why you guys are saying leds are useless only for color?

Maybe im confused...lol could be

On my Jeep wrangler..I installed Vision X Led fog lights and OMG brightest lights ive ever seen...to the point it was lol insane...wasnt a color either just brilliant bright...?

Keep in mind they were also 400$ and a Kit not just bulbs

Take a look at the Lumen ratings, a stock H11 halogen fog has 1350 Lumens the H11 LEDs at Xenon depot have 725 Lumens. Though they may be whiter when you stand back and look at them they have about half of the usable light. So they may be a nice color match to the HID headlights but they project about half as much light to see with when you are driving down the road. Find a real (not a china lying fake) H11 LED with 1350 Lumens and I'll buy it

Tonight was the first time since installing the HIDS in the fog lights that I was able to drive it at night. I see a pretty good difference between them being on and off. I cannot comment on the light output between them and the oem bulbs because I immediately put the LED replacements in for the color match. But they are pretty bright IMO.

To install the new fog light bulbs involves taking off the bumper or are the bulbs easily accessed??

Re: 2014 fog lights?

just peel the front part of the fender liner back. You need plastic rivet and a plastic rivet setter.

Well I don't regret buying them at all. The color to me is a really good match and it has good brightness. For an inexpensive mod I say yes it was worth it.
