I was stuck between Cherry Red and Black personally - fear being black would show scratches etc worse than others.
I was torn between black and mineral grey. Decided on black. Now, I will tell you that this will be the last black vehicle that I ever buy. Ridiculously hard to keep clean, especially up here in Canada with the shitty weather we have, and every little imperfection easily shows up.

Looks absolutely awesome when clean, but that only last for an hour or two lol.

I'm thinking the same. However, the way Jeep/Chrysler do it, you should be able to order in June and be driving one in September, 2014. (Fingers crossed)

Chryco is really gonna have to step it up if they want to be a real contender with the Dodge line in the sports market. By the time they get 550 HP in a middle class buyers car, GM will be over 600 HP and Ford will be over 700 HP with the red kneck lineup. Im worried that Chryco is too concerned about the Cuda having performance that is too close to the new Viper. Yeah, there is huge differences there, but Porsche has been playing this game for years.

I dont think SRT cares about being king of the hp mountain. Just my feeling I get from them.

Spoke with a guy today - he told me in Canada he ordered one last April, it came in November. He said it's usually 4-5 months, often 6.

Anyone in Canada with an SRT that ordered want to tell us how long it took to get yours if you ordered from Factory? (ballpark)

Very true.

I don't see them worried about the Viper though, they won't cannibalize sales there as it's such an elite car as it is. I was told SRT is more about making less vehicles so it raises the rarity. SRT GC is the second hardest vehicle to get under Chrysler bested only by the Viper for being rare. They want the HOLY SHIT THAT'S AN SRT name tag. So far, so good.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee SRT8 - Features & Changes

Ordered mine new from factory on November 29th.... Had it on December 27th. Plus Canada is not anything like the US for allocations and deliveries so I can't compare. But typically, order banks open in June or July and ship in September / October. At least that's how it's been in recent years.

It's kinda like saying that you won't buy one house over another because it has a slightly larger front yard than the one next door...

There is SO MUCH MORE to take into consideration when shopping vehicles than simply HP numbers. Things like interior and exterior design, features and options, intuitive controls, driving comfort, street and track driveability, interior room, cargo room, the list is endless.
