You should be able to have your answer by Monday unless Milous answers beforehand.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee SRT8 - Features & Changes

A couple of questions to add to our joy, Milous.

1) Is the suede headliner still coming on the SRT (as earlier thought)?
2) Re. Uconnect Access for the Canadian market. As you reported earlier, Uconnect Access won't be available for Canada. Do you know if it's the same electronics included in the build (just that Chrysler hasn't secured a contract with a Canadian operator yet) or will it be different electronics for Canada?

Thanks again for all your work here.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee SRT8 - Features & Changes

I'm hoping with Uconnect it is the same for Canada and while not in place yet, once Chrysler secures something with Rogers or Bell, Telus, whoever... we can book an appointment, bring our SRT in for a quick upgrade and plugin under the passenger front seat and boom, we're set.

2. I saw one post about Adaptive Headlights. Are these now standard on the SRT8?
3. Uconnect Access Via Mobile (late availability). Is this something that can be updated later on early build units?
4. What is the "Separate trailer hitch cover" Isn't the hitch cover included with the tow group like the current models?

I am ready to order my next SRT next week, but want to clarify.
1. Lane Departure is not available on the SRT.
2. Yes
3. Don't know, will have to check on this.
4. Not sure why this is on the options list.

1. They are calling it "Dynamica headliner", whatever that means...
2. According to Chrysler, "UCONNECT ACCESS IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR THE CANADIAN MARKET AT THIS TIME". This would seem to indicate that it will be available at some point in the future. No ETA was given.

That is correct, my early info was in error. Cool place to put it!

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee SRT8 - Features & Changes

I found this on the Mercedes Benz site. They use a Dinamica headliner on the ML63. It is described as "A rich, smooth and suedelike" Perhaps Jeep is using something similar.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee SRT8 - Features & Changes

I'm really looking forward to the 2014 and hope Jeep gets it right. I've been waiting MANY years to get back to Jeep and everything so far sounds promising. Great thread.
