Those who have been able to order SRTs must have ordered them early in the day on 1/15. Has anyone been able to order one since then?
my dealer told me same thing.. SRTs popped up early in the system but was removed.. when I pushed further, after reading on here, I was told that orders could be placed but would have to be done directly through the dealerships regional Jeep representative.. I did receive a call, this morning, asking if I want to come order today and get my VON.. But.. on the way to the jeep dealership, to raise hell, I happened by the range rover dealership where they had a new body style 2013 HSE sitting right up front.. it had been ordered 6 months ago with a 5k deposit but buyer's financial situation had changed and he couldn't purchase.. now I's gots some decisions to make

either way.. hope this helps your question.. And YES, of course, Billtcat, you should contribute a little to the cause and sign up!! this site has been such an enormous help to me.. without it.. I would be driving around town in a 2012 model happy today but pissed as hell in a month when the new SRTs drop.. Additionally, if/when you do buy.. I guarantee you will get your money's worth out of this site from all of the insight it offers.. which ever way I go, this has been money well spent

Thanks for the feedback! I think my salesman is straight up and production start has always been almost a month after the other models

According to Milous, my 2014 SRT in white is in pre-release stage.

But I believe that is a mistake.

I think you're right, that it's a mistake. The 2014 SRT's haven't even started being built yet.

They don't get started until March from everything posted here and from what dealers are all saying.

I hope you are right though, that would be bad ass!

Milous corrected my order. When I first saw the update today, it said I have a White SRT ordered and it was at pre-release stage. I was about to call my dealer to make sure he ordered me a Summit, but thought maybe Milous made a mistake, which he did and corrected it. No big deal. Not that I wouldn't mind an SRT for the Summit price.

HA! That would be sweet wouldn't it? I'd take it at Summit price too, I think we all would.

Best of luck with your new ride! The luxury will be nice!

I sent my level 4 membership in right after we talked. Also got a call from my salesman. He went over the dealer connect numbers for the whole country. Lot of cars but no trim level over Overland. Not one SRT. He thinks in about 10 days and I believe him. People who believe they have Ordered SRTs have a hold with the dealers allocation and that is not bad. My guy will place the order as soon as we have details and then take my 5k deposit I don't see much dealing if you want to get in on first orders. I am planning to pay MSRP and get the dealer to install the intake and pipes from Hennessy before I fly in to pick it up. We are making a driving vacation out of picking it up

There are quite a few people who have solid orders for their SRT's, orders that have been accepted by the factory and not just orders being "held" by a dealer.
If you are paying MSRP you are paying way too much, the dealer is going to pocket about $6 grand or better.

Except for Canadians, right? Well I guess the dealer is still pocketing 6k

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee SRT8 - Features & Changes

I ordered my current '12 SRT 6/11 we didn't get pricing for over a month, and then they REVISED the pricing a few weeks later iirc. Didn't get my vehicle until 11/29/11. Sit tight it will happen.
